Dr. Mohammad Fahhr Hussain BDS is an experienced and highly skilled dentist with a strong background in both NHS and private dentistry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Manchester and has developed broad expertise in general dentistry, with particular strengths in restorative and rehabilitative care.
Dr. Hussain is proficient in managing complex restorative cases, including full-mouth rehabilitation, prosthetic treatments, conventional and rotary endodontics, and both simple and advanced periodontal care. He also has a keen interest in oral surgery, having gained extensive experience in dental extractions, the management of impacted wisdom teeth, and the care of patients with complex medical histories.
Beginning his career as a Foundation Dentist, Dr. Hussain quickly embraced the challenges of general practice. He later progressed into secondary hospital care as a Dental Core Trainee, where he refined his clinical skills, managed complex cases, and developed a deeper understanding of multidisciplinary patient care.
Returning to general practice as an Associate Dentist, Dr. Hussain brought with him the precision, discipline, and clinical insight gained in a hospital environment, allowing him to deliver meticulous, patient-centred care. His commitment to professional development has led him to undertake further training in smile makeovers and advanced root canal treatments, enabling him to provide tailored, high-quality treatment plans for his patients.
More recently, Dr. Hussain has embarked on advanced training in implantology, sedation, and minor oral surgery, broadening the range of services he can offer and ensuring his patients have access to comprehensive and modern dental care.
Beyond clinical dentistry, Dr. Hussain is passionate about education and community outreach. He has over 10 years’ experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students and has volunteered with organisations such as the British Islamic Medical Association and One2One Cambodia, delivering dental care and education to underserved communities.
Outside of dentistry, Fahhr enjoys an active lifestyle, regularly playing football, badminton, and squash. He also has a passion for travel and personal challenges, having completed the Fan Dance trek and experienced parachuting. He is fluent in Urdu, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient base.
